Mullingar Chamber of Commerce has had an online presence for many years and I’m sure a lot of people will remember their old website. It served its purpose well but in recent years the committee realised that the website was out of date, too restricting and difficult to update and it was time to retire the old website and develop a new one. After analysing the submitted applications, the committee met with a shortlist of companies and were delighted to award the project to a local web company – us!!
The new website was launched in May 2010 by Minister of State Dara Calleary. The first thing visitors will notice is how striking the website looks. The site is easy to use and visitors can browse the pages, view upcoming events and recent news items, and find out about becoming a member and benefits. The website is built upon our favourite Content Management System, WordPress, which enables staff to update the content on the site keeping it fresh and current.

All members of the Mullingar Chamber of Commerce, have their business details included in the online Member Directory. This is a wonderful opportunity to promote businesses online and also to get those all important links back to their own websites.
