Being an online company it was very important to get the website right so Cookie Web designed a banner featuring the beautiful scenic coastline of Portugal. We went for a nice rich green which gives the site a fresh and friendly look and feel, which mirrors the company’s friendly and personable ethos. We’ve enjoyed working with Conor tremendously and admire the amount of work that he and his people have been putting in to get the festival up and running. It looks like it’s going to be great! There are some awesome musicians lined up to play over the 5 days – and we’ve added in plenty of YouTube video clips within the biographies of the performers to give you an idea of their style. Orla and I will be there for sure! And as the festival is based in Drogheda we’ll be taking advantage of some pretty amazing accommodation package deals available.

The www.aodha.ie website has been built on the WordPress platform – I assume you know by now that myself and Heidi are huge WordPress fans!! The design style of the website is nice and minimal in order to showcase the pictures of Aodha’s models and designs. The website is fully editable using the content management system so that the text and imagery can be updated easily by our client. Over the coming weeks and months Noel will be busy adding to the portfolio entries with recent information and photos on the progress of his projects. We look forward to seeing more – especially of those building models, they’re great!

Michael is also setting up a Community Supporting Agriculture (CSA) scheme which encourages members of the community to develop a partnership with the farmers and share the rewards and risks of farming fruit and vegetables. The ‘Oatmeal Cookie’ Solution

This was our first ‘Oatmeal Cookie’ website package to go live so we wanted to show off just how lovely a template based website can look. Usually, if you mention website template to a web designer you get a lot of sniffy comments and rolling of eyes. So yes, the package offers amazing value!  However with that comes restrictions on design, layout and content and while this suits many small business and individuals down to the ground it’s worth noting that the Oatmeal Cookie website package is not for everyone.
