New Year – New Look

We’ve had a super busy January – and February shows no sign off slowing down either. In fact talking to people across a range of businesses from internet based to cafes to the local health food shop we’re noticing a definite pick up for Feb 2010. Great news and hardly surprising – most folk we know in business were never going to take this recession lying down and coupled with a bit more ‘consumer confidence’ the wheels of commerce are turning once again. Yay!

So general busy-ness in the new year delayed our own website redesign launch – but at the end of last week we finally put the finishing touches to our new look and launched on Thursday. We have gone with the warm, organic (organics are so in!!) tones of coffee and sepia and amber highlights- not quite chocolate but definitely more on par with our lovely business cards we’re so fond of handing out to anyone who’ll have ’em. We have simplified our homepage layout too so that all you need to take in is a bit about what we do and our latest work automatically pulled in from the blog and presented on a lovely JavaScript slider. Very easy to update – there is no updating. The blog is very much the central focus of the website. After all that’s where all the action is.

So here’s to 2010 and as we like to say here at Cookie Web when faced with a challenge – bring it on!!

BTW – how cool is our cute little favicon!! 😀

    Hey hey!
Orla and Heidi – the new site is looking very swish indeed. Lovely colour-theme and that flash header looks deadly. Well done! What’s next for cookieweb?
