Michael is also setting up a Community Supporting Agriculture (CSA) scheme which encourages members of the community to develop a partnership with the farmers and share the rewards and risks of farming fruit and vegetables. Local members of the community can make some sort of investment in the farm in return for e.g. a weekly box of vegetables, fruit from an apple tree you have sponsored, etc. If you’re interested in reading more about CSA schemes check out the Soil Association (UK) website and contact Michael if you’d like to be involved.

Developed using WordPress’s easy to use content management system, Michael can update the text and imagery on the website himself ensuring that his market times and range of produce is always up to date. And thanks again to the Westmeath Enterprise Board who part funded the development of the website through their grant scheme.
